Eval q. 2 : COMBO OF MAIN AND ANCILLARIES

I made a promotional package of a film trailer, a film poster and a film magazine cover. A promotional package such as this has vital requirements, most importantly to create a film brand that successfully sells a film to its target audience.

My three products for my film all effectively work as a combination due to the careful choice of branding and colour that I used whilst filming the trailer as well as designing the poster and magazine cover. The contrast between black and white plays a heavy feature in all three of my products, with white text on a dark background features in the intertitles of my trailer and the title of my film in both the film poster and the magazine cover.
My three products bear a close to resemblance to each other as the protagonists to our film are the prominent people within the trailer, poster and magazine cover. they also wear the same sort of outfits/costumes in order for all of the promotional parts of the package to synergise with each other, these outfits also furthur the fact that they are all seen within the category of being teenagers. Seeing as my film is a disaster/thriller, I used dark colours in designing both the look of the trailer and the poster and magazine cover, with the central fire feature to the poster being a signal of what the genre is about as well as interlocking with what the story is about. This was further represented by my choice of font for the film title which I used for all three products,digitalised text gives a feel that we are in the future within this movie's time as well as the text looking broken which is also what the movie genre is about.
